The Church of Blodgett Mills will have a picnic and school supplies drive from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 31 at Blodgett Mills Park on Kellog Road, the church has announced.
The event will include food, games and an assortment of free school supplies for kids getting ready to go back to school, provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Any leftover supplies will be donated to the McGraw Central School District.
The church will accept donations to buy school supplies; they can be mailed to the Church of Blodgett Mills: P.O. Box 51, Blodgett Mills, N.Y. 13738. Note that it’s for school supplies.
To donate school supplies directly, drop them off at the church by Aug. 30. Call the church at 607-756-7026 to arrange a drop off.
