DRYDEN — The Dryden Youth Opportunity Fund has announced it is accepting applications for its spring grant cycle.
The fund has awarded more than $222,000 to 306 projects since it was founded in 2003.
The grants, typically under $500, seek to provide programs and activities that go beyond the basic requirements of public education, primarily:
•Mini-grants for projects in cultural and academic enrichment, scholastic achievement and youth development.
•Projects that could not begin without supplmental funding.
