John Albert Adams, 86, of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away on February 9, 2025. Born in Cortland, NY, on May 20, 1938, John graduated from Cortland High School in 1956 and earned his accounting degree from Alfred State University before serving in the Army National Guard.
He spent 24 years as the manager at Overhead Door Company in Binghamton, NY, where he was known for his exceptional leadership and community service, serving as Nimmonsburg Rotary President 1983-84.
A passionate sports fan, he loved the Red Sox, NASCAR, and Syracuse teams. John was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, and is survived by his daughter Angel Adams (Brian Murphy), stepson Richard Campbell, and several nieces.
