A free presentation Thursday will outline how people with dementia might use behavior to communicate needs and emotions, rather than words.
The seminar will also discuss how dementia changes a person’s behavior, possible triggers and person-centered care approaches.
The event will be 3 to 4 p.m. at the Age Well Center, 165 Main St., Cortland. It is sponsored by the Cortland County Office for Aging Resource Center.
