Cortland County reported five new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, raising the number of confirmed cases since the pandemic began to 13,598, the state Health Department reports.
Tompkins and Cayuga counties reported eight new cases Tuesday, the state reported. The three counties have seen 61,190 cases since the pandemic began in March 2020. The number of people who have died from the virus remains 419.
Two new COVID patients were admitted Friday to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, the state reported. The hospital had six COVID patients. The state reports 318,092 tests have been administered. The state has reported 135 deaths.
