Kinney Drugs has announced the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the latest Moderna COVID-19 vaccines and is taking appointments to administer it starting next week.
People 6 months and older are eligible for the new approved vaccine, designed to counter the latest COVID variant, the omicron KP.2. Pharmacies such as Kinney Drugs are authorized to administer the vaccine to individuals aged 3 years and older. The newly approved COVID-19 vaccine can be co-administered with all other approved vaccines.
